This Privacy Policy explains how Retire Abroad Hub (“Retire Abroad Hub,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit retireabroadhub.com (the “Site”), book a consultation, or otherwise interact with us. What we are. Retire Abroad Hub is an informational consultation service that connects North Americans with local guides who share their personal, lived experience of moving abroad. We do not provide legal, immigration, financial, tax, investment, or medical advice. This Privacy Policy concerns how we handle your data, for the limits of our services, see our disclaimers throughout the Site.

1. Who we are & how to reach us

2. Information we collect

a. Information you give us directly

  • Booking & contact details : when you schedule a call, we (through our scheduling provider) collect your name, email address, time zone, the destination or guide you select, and any questions, notes, or details you choose to share.
  • Communications : emails or messages you send us, and our replies.
  • Consultation context : information you voluntarily share before or during a session (for example, your relocation goals or budget). Please share only what you’re comfortable disclosing.

b. Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information using cookies and similar technologies, including: your IP address, browser type and language, device and operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits.

c. Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from the services we use, such as Calendly (booking confirmations), our advertising platforms (aggregated campaign and conversion data from Meta and TikTok), and our website host. We do not purchase personal data from data brokers.

5. Legal bases for processing (EEA / UK visitors)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on these legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide a consultation you book); consent (for non-essential cookies and marketing , which you may withdraw at any time); legitimate interests (to secure and improve our Site and measure our advertising, balanced against your rights); and legal obligation (to comply with applicable law).

6. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Local guides : when you book a consultation, we share the details needed to deliver your call (such as your name and the topics you want to cover) with the guide you selected.
  • Service providers / processors : companies that operate the Site and our business on our behalf, including our website host, Calendly (scheduling), our email provider, and our analytics and advertising partners (Meta and TikTok). They may only use your data to provide services to us.
  • Legal & safety : where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Retire Abroad Hub, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers : in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

7. Advertising & your choices

We advertise on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok and use their pixels to measure results. You can control interest-based advertising directly through these platforms and through industry opt-out tools:

  • Meta: adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram account settings.
  • TikTok: adjust personalized ad settings in your TikTok account.
  • Industry tools: the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and, in Canada, the AdChoices program (youradchoices.ca).
  • Marketing emails: click “unsubscribe” in any marketing email, or email us at hello@retireabroadhub.com.

8. Data retention

We keep your personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, for example, to provide your consultation, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

9. International data transfers

We serve clients across North America and use service providers that may store and process data in the United States and other countries. If you access the Site from the EEA, the UK, or elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws differ from yours. 12. Children's privacy

The Site and our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party services such as Calendly and our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services. Please review their privacy policies before providing information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
